I tend to agree, regarding the album Filth, but have you listened to the samples of horsey noises? If not, do so, I do enjoy this! http://planet-mu.com/discography/ZIQ233
I like it more indeed. But is it supposed to be funny? Heh, I'm laughing a lot for no reason when I listen to this new VS. (That usually only happens when I've had a bit more fun, haha)
I was briefly really into Ochre, but I quit liking him so much when I realized that he had the potential to be 10x better than he is. I mean, he's excellent, but with his background and training he ought to be even better, and that leaves me feeling let down and wanting more. Now, as for that new Kettel album...haha. WOAH. No disappointment there. Both those guys are simply geniuses.

it might have something to do with the fact that the album art is a pig banging a horse, and all the vocal samples i heard seem to be describing various aspects of that idea.
"I've made you a drawing of a giraffe fucking an elephant. Notice how his mustache looks just like mine!"
Venetian Snares for everrrrrrrr.

I'm surprised you're not into Clark considering some of the artists on that list, then again if like you said it's a bit hit and miss, fair enough. Talented guy though!

Yeah I know, but their tour is to promote their new album, so I still have some hope left
Edit: They have already done some songs of their new album in recent concerts.
