it's the sound you get when you play every track that's in the release at the same time, whilst passing the audio through the filter section of a Korg MS-20, through a couple of Doepfer envlopes and modules, and playing it back through the cabinet of a Moog Modular.

yes, playing the audio through the cabinet. the vibrating mahogany.

mmmm tasty :)

in my honest opinion, it kinda sounds a bit BoC ish to me. but i don't know anything.

Am I the only one who hopes this isn't the release that I was expecting from BoC? I cant afford this shit, and I don't really listen to anyone else on WARPs label. Oh well, hopefully there will be more soon!!!

I get money tomorrow.... I'll wait a little bit.
they take your money already. order without knowing.. I don't WARP enough to pay for something without trying it out first. paying 130 bucks for possibly one ('tracks' inclusive) BOC jam.. for the love of WARP indeed.. this should come with an ale or wine.

Yeah, and what is WITH the lack of vinyl on Bleep? OUT OF STOCK OUT OF STOCK (major releases).

BAH!

Yep... it sure is.

*shrug*
THIS i the kind of thing I would get a copy of from someone else. Like those fraking Analords (complete) and that Radiophonic Workshop comp they made 1 1/2 copies of on Rephlex.

That's right, I dl'd these goddamn tracks good. I have spent plenty at Warpmart. I'm not fighting some trendy spendy urban nitwit for an auction piece. Used Moog market is ruined too. Everything is ruined!

This is just a reminder from your friendly neighborhood Skytree to cheer up a bit, everyone.

In case you missed it, this is a thread about the inevitable release of new Boards tracks in September, verified by the label itself.

$130 is a reasonable price. If you cannot afford it, you will likely find a way to hear it regardless. So just kick back, relax, and listen to the other 100+ bands you love in the interim. All is well.

I'll repeat a recently-posted quote, since I feel it applies here:

"Adopt the pace of nature; her secret is patience."

Pre-ordered mine as well. I can understand people who are only into BoC, and not any other Warp acts, not wanting to shell out for what may be only 2 tracks max from the duo. However, for fans of other Warp artists, it's one hell of a package. I'm most excited about the BoC tunes though. Whilst I would appreciate official releases of 'XYZ' or the original broadcasted version of 'Happy Cycling' from the Peel Sessions, I'm hoping(as others have stated) for some of the 'Geogaddi' session tracks.

I'm into other warp artists as well but I am not willing to shell out over a 100 bucks for any compilation whatsoever. Also, as far as I understand, it comes as a combination of CD's and Vinyl. And the new BoC track(s) come on vinyl, which is not ideal in my situation as I don't own a record player in the place I live at right now. So, useless. I am willing, however, to pay for individual tracks if they make them available as a download.

<td>Artist</td>
<td>Title</td>
<td>Format</td>

....but my name and order number are mixed in with all the gobbledegook so I guess its kosher.
