OK, so I've just had a message on Last.FM from Steff from The Second Hand Marching Band. They are playing that night too and she's confirmed it's Mogwai playing. Apparently the bands on the bill have known for some time but have been asked to keep quiet about it.

So there you go. Unless this is the biggest double-bluff of the year, BOC ain't playing. Darn it.

Thanks a million for this mexicola, thanks for clearing this up once and for all. I am kinda gutted it's not them but I'd be a lot more pissed off to get over there and find out it's not boc.

Duh, every time I get into bed with your Mother.
Ah! That was you then? She asked me to tell you not to wear the dress next time

BTW - heard during a football match I played in a while back:
Their guy to my mate Martin, "How come your such a fat fucker?"
Martin's reply: "Simple mate. Every time I shag your mum she gives me a biscuit."

We actually had to stop playing for 2 minutes because even the referee was in tears laughing.
Hahahahaha, classic!

Thanks for the news though man. But maybe it's because they are too busy working on some finishing touches for the new album?

A good one to be sure, but get it right, it's a classic cricket sledge:
McGrath: "Why are you so fat?"
Brandes: "Because every time I fuck your wife she gives me a biscuit."

that would only work though if the recipient has a wife.

It's a really nice city - It's nice having everything so close and the whole university lifestyle that coexists within this place. I do miss the bigger cities though - however Newcastle is just down the road.

Exam results in two days - scary times :(

The latest news on the forthcoming UK premiere of the All Tomorrow's Parties film is that the concert section will feature live music, bingo, DJ’s including Belle and Sebastian's Chris Geddes, and will culminate in a very special headline set from a top-secret Scottish act.
.

Nasty trick guys! :D (I know it has been said before)

When it said a top-secret Scottish act they are hardly referring to the behaviour of the band. simply that they were not disclosing the identity of the said Scottish act. Fact is that there are several Scottish acts that feature more prominently in the ATP film and BOC would hardly come out to play live to support their 30 second inclusion.

Optimism was beaten by cold reality yet again.

Yeah, thought that. Produce masterpieces, won't be rushed, in a different plane entirely. Wouldn't have it any other way.
