pumping this through my stereo... sounds sooo crisp! at least compared to the others. love it. esp when the snare really kicks in at 1:15 or so.

Terekhova's recording has a superior high end, but I'd sort of become used to the dirty bass of the older.

What might the two sound like together? After normalizing the volume and aligning them in audacity, turns out they fit together pretty well, definitely a fuller sound.... some slight phasing in and out tho.

Anyone have any fancy software that might make a seamless copy?
I was thinking about doing this. I'll have a look at it later on.

I recorded two tracks at ATP. "Julie and Candy" and what is referred to as "Track Six". I was further back than the guy who did the recording that has been doing the rounds, just to the left of the sounddesk, and the sound is pretty good.

These two tracks are all that I recorded unfortunately. I encoded them from MiniDisc to 160kbps MP3s back in 2001. I can't find the MD, so I can't rip them at a higher bitrate for the moment.

If nobody objects, I'm happy to post these for download.
Outstanding first post! :)

Thanks so much for this, and please do keep looking for those discs, it would be great to have the original full-quality recording. But this is spectacular already!

jbible (who recorded the other bootleg) said that the security was really tight, did you have any troubles making the recording?

There were plenty of security around but the MD and tiny mic were in my pocket and mostly people with bags were being stopped. Security also stuck to the outside of the crowd and, more out of luck than anything else, I ended up toward the center. No one noticed the mic at all. Especially the bloke toward the end that bumped into me and said "aaah, sorry" almost directly into it...

Blink of an eye's remastering job sounds the best to these ears.. Maybe someone on here is a fan enough to have it remastered professionally at Dubplates & Mastering or something!

Seriously though, I've been waiting for a decent-sounding recording of that track for, what, eight years pretty much! So this is hugely appreciated to say the least..

i cant believe this has just come out now! thanks so much! its great to hear it from a different angle! you can hear the mid and upper range so much better!

BoC should really do a 12" pressing of this, would be such an amazing tune to drop in a club!

i've just experimented with mixing the 2 versions of 7 together for an interesting effect. so far my favorite is a mild sine amplitude modulation, and the reverse stereo for the converse. KIND OF A PULSATING WHOOSHY 2 places at once feel.. hIgHlY rEcOmMeNdEd @@@

ALSO editing the ATP Sixtyniner intro SOT right before the big bass drops on 7 sets an unprecedented atmosphere for this mentally unctuous experience.

I also noticed the version from this thread is slightly tighter, and both slowly go out of sync while the pitch is accurate. This might have something to do with time, matter and space, or some intrinsic quality of the recorders.

Thanks to anyone who bootlegged these real rare shows, and any AE bootlickers here also.

Can someone upload this again please. I, for some reason, didn't download it the first time.
