Just got stopped by the police
they were like ''Hi mate, what you doing out at this time?'' I replied ''Just going for my usual morning jog'' - ''Oh, ok, where do you live?'' - ''Heaton'' - ''Do you have a job?'' - ''Not at the moment no, i'm doing a course you see'' - ''Oh right, have you seen any girls around here'' - ''No..''
Feel like I've done something wrong now! First time being stopped by a police van, left feeling quite intimidated.

jesus! no one deserves to get heckled like that just out and about in a public space. that's the spectre of social programming lingering about, saying "what are you doing? are you working for your society right this very minute? why not? what makes you think what you're doing is so important?"

there's a face-print in grease on the inside of my kitchen window and i don't know how it got there. It doesn't look like anyone i know, and i've experimented a bit and i can't even get my face to print the window like that. I'm on the 20th floor of a high rise so it was hardly likely to be some creepy passerby. I'm stumped. Might post some pics later. Anyone?

Well I guess its a real obvious 1 then Infinite. Though, human beings have the weird problem that they want to see recognisable things in everything, especially faces. Just like that crater thingy on mars, everybody thought it was a face also. Just some weird thing man kind were not concious of developing for themselves.

well, that last pic i posted up there is the other face found on mars, not the more famous one people know so well! i'm fairly convinced, or at least its roused my curiousity to look into it more.portiss wrote: Just like that crater thingy on mars, everybody thought it was a face also.

i'm not interested in understanding anything in terms of 'what humans tend to do'. such an abstraction. that's one of those "now close your eyes and think as if you aren't yourself" mind tricks that westerners have been obsessed with ever since at -least- the enlightenment. i prefer to understand things the way i understand them. the path you choose is much more meaningful when you don't choose it.
