This is kind of weird...
It seems that somebody posted a hoax leak, which was then followed by what appears to be the real deal.

Just listened to it... I hope to god it's some kind of joke because no offence but it's pretty shite.

I tend to listen to MBV impersonators like Brian Jonestown Massacre's later stuff

Have to agree...these are unreleased tracks for a reason...because they are shite...............seriously are these real??????????????????????????????

Thanks for posting these. Real or not, I like these tracks. I agree they aren't mindblowing, but they are far from "utter shite".

wow, this is pretty dissapointing. They are just demos, we will see. It sounds like they are trying to mimic themselves.

Interesting find, but I agree that these songs are pretty bad..especially the vocals in Cowboy Song

I actually discovered them a year back or so. Brilliant band. One of the greatest concerts I've attended. Especially the twenty minute holocaust drone/noise thingy. Man. I died and resurrected, right there.

Anyway, the songs:

Agree on the awful vocals on Cowboy. Kevin sounds like a altered Loveless song, but not a genius. Belinda is by far the best, not wow, but a nice song. Now... since this is out there, let them release something new.

Sounds like something they made right after Loveless. I had heard they would be taking a totally different direction, folk rock was mentioned. Don't know where I've heard that one before?? :wink:

You can definitely hear that on his 'Lost in Translation' music.
I'd certainly be interested to hear the drum & bass experiments that I'm sure he's mentioned.
