This is quite good. Not sure on the vocals in the Haikuesque remix. Sound a bit weird to me; timestretched or something?

Bit lazy sticking Carvings in there, despite how much I love it. I want a goddam Lone remix!

Yea, what? Music for the intelligent?

That's like someone listening to punk and saying "Only hardcore people listen to this!"

It sounds very arrogant and childish.

And I guess some tracks i'd consider music on it, but some of them are just "LAYERS" of sound to me.

I think the Ovels EP is some of his best melodical work. Saying it's only for 'intelligent' people is stupid, yet somehow right. It's a lot more subtle than his other stuff. Needs to be listened to without doing anything else.

But yeah. I can't get on with 'Polycoulraphon' because it sounds like a bad trip. I was sort of having a bad trip when it came on once, and now every time I listen to it it makes me nauseous. True story.

Don't get me wrong, i LOVE abstract music, and experimental music.. But it needs at least a TINY bit of rhythm and rhyme to it. I tried to enjoy Ovals and Emeralds but i'd always end up asking myself wtf is this?

It sounds like he's in a warehouse full of junk and he's just tapping shit and creating long drawn out noises.

Kind of reminds me of some of Helios's work under the Goldmund alias.. A couple of those releases are him just tapping keys of the piano. While i love Goldmund, some of it is just unlistenable.

I love Goldmund too, apart from Two Point Discrimination, which I find grating.
