Warp20 Listening Party in Minnesota

Post by Skytree »

Hey all, thought I'd drop a note here and let any natives know that I'll be having a gathering to listen to the Warp20 box set on Saturday, September 26th. If you didn't have the chance to get the box set, or just want to hang with other local Twoismers and link-minded folk, you're welcome to come by. My place is just outside the Twin Cities.

Good sound system, vinyl (including lots of other Boards/Warp tracks) vintage turntable and outdoor fire provided. Bring whatever else you'd like. Respectful, peaceful atmosphere is essential.

Anyone that comes early, we're thinking of going for a hike/adventure out in the park earlier in the day, time and weather providing. I'm pretty close to a few good spots.

If you're down, just drop me a PM. (:

That sounds awesome (I love hiking and I love Warp). Alas, going to America would cost too much money for this soon-to-be university student living off-campus.

Well, since you guys have all of the good stuff actually located there in the UK, this is what we have to resort to out in the middle of vast America. That aside, good luck with university! (As you Brits say.) (:

Awesome man. It'll be great to meet you. Look forward to it too!

By the way, I should mention that in the (hopefully) unlikely event that the delivery of the box set is delayed, we can just play any of the other vinyl I have, chat and have a good time nonetheless.

Any word from zeitgeist? I know he's from the area but I'm not sure if he's going to be around, would be excellent to meet em!

Hmm...thanks for the heads up. Could you let me know when you hear back from Bleep/Warp? I'd appreciate it.
