So I was walking around campus the other day and amongst all the busy sounds of school starting up, I heard something different. I kept walking, my mind fixated on this sound. So familiar. I knew it was a BoC track that I was hearing. Further up the street as it was getting louder and louder, I realized it was just a vacuum cleaner and an open window. But I swear, for a long time, it sounded EXACTLY like corsair

Reminds me of a very interesting even that happened to me last year. I was walking in my city of Denver--I forgot where I was going--but I heard some beautiful music around the corner of the building in front of me. It was so ethereal, so moving, so otherworldy, it sounded so chordally alien and yet it moved me. I kept walking, as it grew louder and closer, and when I turned the corner, it turned out to be a construction site with a bunch of dump trucks, tractors, and machines.

Ha.
One time I was lying in my bed listening to Autechre's 'Cichlisuite' on my iPod and thinking to myself.. man.. this is a lot more abstract/difficult than I remember.
And then I realized about halfway through the EP that the headphone jack was only half way in.
Yeah. So. I apparently have a very broad definition of 'music'. Or else Autechre is putting us all on.
