So I've had a look and there are 2 things on the run out, 1 looks like a hand scribed matrix which is very small and hard to read let alone photograph it looks like it reads BD 10018-01 A1 the 1's could be 7's though as it's hard to make out if the A1 is even there of it's just a mark I had to move it around in the light a bit just to even see it?.... Other than that there is a Zig Zag crossed out bit which is about a quarter of the way round from the matrix, here is the best picture I could take of that:

Hey, that's really interesting thanks for looking and taking the pic! Wonder why one of the numbers has been scrubbed out? I thought there may have been another clue or something that may have been overlooked as part of the RSD incident, not that any of that matters now... just interesting. Hope you enjoy the vinyl dude... very jealous... still searching for one of the others but it just aint gona happen!

The guy who found it was a college student in NYC. Surely you must realize the type of financial dire straights that would put you in.

To call him greedy shows a complete lack of touch with reality. If you can't afford to buy a vinyl that costs four figures, you can't afford to keep one either. That's just common sense, no matter how much of a fan you are. And the kid who found it was a fan, by the way, and I know that he would have loved to keep it if he could. Obviously you've never had to worry about money in your life or you'd understand.

To compare it with the listening party bootlegging is asinine. Was there any request from the band not to sell on the vinyl? Does selling the vinyl leak an unreleased album?

It takes a lot for me to flame a fellow BoC fan, but your attitude is outrageous. You should think a bit harder about the things you say about decent people who don't have the financial resources to hold on to an item like this.

...anyway, back on topic. 60-10 you are a lucky guy. As other posters mentioned, it's a little bit of history. Fantastic to have the "other music" label on it too, to prove it was the first one to be found. Historical stuff indeed.

Hi dude, I'm not wading into the argument but I do understand what you are saying and agree I talked to the seller who I bought it from and he told me the original owners full story and to say most people who have commented on the original sale don't know the half of it would be an understatement and that also goes for the seller I bought it from he was a fan who made a rash decision to buy it and it left him in a bad way financially, but hey this is the internet and different people will always have different opinions .....

Thanks again and as I've said previously people can rest assured it's in a good home and will be kept safe and treasured as a piece of history

Absolute rubbish IMO if got change out of a 20 from it and its worth a gorilla or more if you believe that this other guy bought it (which I don't, either he bought it for considerably less or he sold it using an alias/other account to push the market value up), then he CAN afford to keep it as it cost him less than a packet of ciggies and a beer. What it's "possibly" worth has nothing to do with whether or not he can afford to keep it.

So if you found a bar of gold in the street you could afford to keep it? I mean, after all, it didn't cost you anything to find it, did it?

C'mon mate, engage your brain. What something is worth has got everything to do with whether you can afford to keep it.

If I found a single gold bullion I would be looking hard to see if there was more. I would only sell it if the gold price was crashing, and I think that there's some room for it to move upwards currently, so I'd probably hang onto it.. Ironic that you used the gold bullion analogy with my line of work
