Open The Light
I rarely see people mention this one when talking about MHTRTC. And that is sad, because it's a brilliant track

Almost mentioned this before, my favorite from MHTRTC. I wouldn't say it's really one of the most underrated ones though since plenty of people really like it. Oh and Orange Romeda too, easily one of my top favorites from boards. It's like THE binding track between MHTRTC and Geogaddi eras, would love to hear more of that...

Julie and candy is possibly (depending on the day) my favourite track.

Not really sure in what light its viewed by the BoC community, but to me, Left Side Drive is one of the best tracks the bros. have ever composed

This was the second boc song I ever heard and the song that made me fall in love. God I love that song. That circular stereo spanning, hot damn.
I would also second oirectine and spectrum.
I thought julie and candy was one of their most popular songs though. It gets mentioned as a favorite a lot.

Zeotrope was my first BOC tracks that I bought on a compilation. It definitely shaped my BOC listening haha. So it holds a special place in my heart.
Amazing track.
I also love Under the Coke Sign, with the city sounds floating in the back ground. Heard From Telegraph Lines is really great as well. Melissa Juice and Sac have such a great melody, I just wish they would continue when I hear it, but I also love SQ/1986 SF so I like that next as well. Defs concur on In the Annex and Open the Light... Absolutely sublime.
Does Korona get mentioned much? Also a favourite of mine.
From One Source all Things Depend? Geometric Piss? Ataronchronon? Rodox Video? Audio Track 16? Love it!

Powerline misfortune
tucked away at the end of AFOT2 rarely gets a mention on here. I find the melody haunting and nostalgic

Magic Teens : seriously, how come no one ever mentions this as one of their favorite songs is beyond me. I could listen to this on repeat forever and never get sick of it.
Hey Saturday Sun : most people seem to dislike this one, don't know why, I love it's dreamy sunny, windy quality. Pure escapism.
Orange Romeda : this perfectly combines the moods of mhtrtc and iabpoitc.
Poppy Seed : not very underrated i guess, but it needs to be said more often that this is one of their finest.
Satellite Anthem Icarus : maybe the best track imo of the extremely underrated Campfire Headphase. (why do most people dislike this album?).
Sequoia : also, brilliant
There's probably more, but these are just off the top of my head.

Concourse makes me feel like I'm lost in the original metroid. In a mostly good way.

honestly i think every track is underrated, perhaps not against the harder core fans, but definitely to the casual listener
the amount of work that is put into each and every track, that delicate craft is phenomenal
i can't even begin to comprehend it

Great thread! Tricky too as what might be deemed as under-rated might be the secret fave of many.
So I'll go for Come To Dust reversed. Honestly, try it.
Better still, try overlaying the forward and reverse of Come To Dust. It fits too well to be a coincidence.
For anyone using linux:
$ sox ctd.wav ctd_rev.wav reverse
$ sox --combine mix-power ctd.wav ctd_rev.wav ctd_mixed.wav
