Thanks for checking this out though guys, it really does mean a lot to me. Liam, that remix is absolutaly incredible - It was a nice suprise to see that on there, thanks man!
Oh cheers dude! I hope you're happy with it, I finished it the day the release was put up so had to rush it straight on there. Hope alls good with the release dude
The rest of the remixes are so good its untrue, all brilliant in their own way...unsurprising though with the talent of remixers involved and the excellent source material to work with. Do you have any links to any creative works Treefingers that I could link on the site?

holy balls, this FSP remix is making me cry.
A lot of the remixes seem to have a very Sarin Sunday (The Lonely Hike anyone?) vibe.
And that's real good.
I'll scope the originals tomorrow. If the remix album is any indication, it kicks butt. Well done all involved. Extra props to Joe for the amazing art, per usual.
If you don't check this out you need to be taken out back and shot.

Thanks man...just about made my day. Been feeling a bit ambivalent about making music recently, so this definitely helps.
Listening to your album again on the way home from work tonight. (:

Hey , this is pretty good , i'm enjoying these tracks atm, i've just downloaded this.
Reminds me a bit of Christ.
This album deserves a better name than '1992 in an igloo' though , imo.
Haven't heard the remixes yet, gonna check em out too.

Well , I think a different title would have been better , but it doesn't really matter because the music is good. I'm liking 'Falco Flies With Me' and 'St. Elsewhere' the most.
Oh and the remixes are pretty good too so far.

I can see why someone would think the title, 1992 In An Igloo, should've been avoided or steered clear from, but in the end both all self-correction and all refusal to self-correct at any given juncture is just a part of the artistic process. It's all legit.

Thanks for the feedback man, you know I appreciate! I dig the fact that you are reminded of Christ. when you listen, I'm definitely inspired by his work.. I can see where you are coming from when you mention the title of the EP, but for me its perfect - I wouldn't call it anything else.
When I look back on the production of this entire piece, I recognize my immaturities and excitement - In fact that is what made the piece what it is. I wasn't trying to be someone else, just showing my appreciation to a couple of brothers that changed my life.

Damn right! Although.. I avoid listening to Resinosa while smoking/smoked up. It gets bit heavy for me in a way.. a way thats completely impossible to explain.
I'm not trying to be poetic or mindblowing.. Just trying to explain something that is very emotional for me. The feeling I attempted to capture goes something like.. I come to the realization that everyone I know, and love is safe, and sound asleep without a bother in the world. Its a feeling of complete happiness, but not for myself. The only thing that makes me truly happy is to know that everyone else has found their place, and is safely sound asleep.
My place is somewhere out in those resinosa pines, listening to the wind, knowing that everyone is alright.
Thanks again for anyone who has checked this out.. Still can't get enough of these remixes guys, its like a dream come truefor me!

For some reason, the first thing that came into my head this morning was '1105 in a Beehive'.
My parents are liking some of your stuff, by the way.

there are some 88marquis songs that tug at my heart strings as well. i think we've talked about that once, pete. i think it's a secret song.
and yes, some damn good smoking music! working on this artwork was so much fun. get high, put the music on and just play around in photoshop. man that seems like so long ago. i miss summer already.

Nice job!
Thanks dude, I recently found out from a friend of mine that St. Elsewhere is the title of a Gnarles Barkley (spelling..) album I guess, but there is no connection I can guarantee you haha.
Recording St. Elsewhere was one of the most fucked up experiences I've ever had while making tunes, it took me all night trapped in my bedroom during a snowstorm to do this one. I was definitely under the influence, and it just came to me from somewhere unknown. Glad you dig it man!
Awesome, song has a lot of emotion in it, i love it!
