oh thought so indeed.. a bit on the bragging side though, calling your own work: "stunning video" but nonetheless it's a nice video for sure.

I understand the whole deal about getting the Japanese to buy local versions... but hey.. what about the west? I'm sure most of their fan base is in Europe and America, why do we have to pay $35 for ONE track? Why does a tiny place like Japan get SO MUCH LOVE?

Ok... I'm bitching, I know. But I think it's high time for a remixes and rarities disc from BOC. A lot of their stuff I'd happily own legally if they'd make it availible to me.
japan has the biggest music industry in the world in terms of units sold, the japanese buy far more music than us music thieve-ing westerners.

So you're *sure* it's not just a synth then?

i would doubt its a synth, barring the use of other instruments on this album and they prolly wouldnt use a synth to create this type of sound

was about to JUMP right in there but i guess your right.

but if they did have some other people on their album, i thnk we would have heard of them/it by now, what with people who get pissed off without any credit, ya know.

I just can't get over this track. It has to be the most gorgeous thing I've ever heard in my life.

I first heard it on the Boc myspace page:

http://www.myspace.com/abeautifulplace

I found a torrent for a FLAC version which is kicking about.

Its such a beast tune, sounds like theres a subtle choir in the background. It must be the only time i've ever heard a drum loop backwards that sounded awesome.
I was gutted when I found out it was Japan only.

While were on the topic of how they get there sounds, anyone have an idea of how they created the main sound in Under the Coke Sign? I cant even come close to imagine how they got it.
