If you have'nt heard this yet and want to wait than I suggest you don't read this.
Just got my Japanese Edition of TCH today. This track is fucking gorgeous and one of the best on the cd. The synth pads remind me a little of Zoetrope over a deep bassline and hi-hats. Then the angelic vocal sample fades in and takes you away to oblivion. Excelent track!
Edit: The rest of the cd sounds way better too for some reason. More crisp and clear that the burned copy I have.
Derail, do you have any idea if the Japanese version will be pressed to Vinyl with the extra track? As far as I know only the standard warp-issued vinyl ever gets pressed.

Yeah that's a good question, I was wondering the same thing. Not sure?
I haven't heard it yet but I'm starting to think I made the right decision in ordering the Japanese copy.

As far as I know the Japanese versions with bonus tracks only come out on CD.

Oh man you made a good choice, you won't be dissapointed. Track has been on repeat for a while and it just gets better with every listen.
Damn you! I've already spent so much money on music in this past month. So long to another $35 I guess. Oh well, it is BoC isn't it? If anyone is worth blowing all of my savings on, it's definitely them.
I got Maquerie Ridge off Soulseek yesterday. Frankly... I'm a little bit peeved that BOC didn't include this track on the album in the first place. It's now on my top 5 favorites from this new batch.
I understand the whole deal about getting the Japanese to buy local versions... but hey.. what about the west? I'm sure most of their fan base is in Europe and America, why do we have to pay $35 for ONE track? Why does a tiny place like Japan get SO MUCH LOVE?
Ok... I'm bitching, I know. But I think it's high time for a remixes and rarities disc from BOC. A lot of their stuff I'd happily own legally if they'd make it availible to me.
a very friendly ghost sended this track to me.thank you again! it's a nice track, indeed.not too spectacular, but nice...! maybe they want to put that track out on bleep.com as a bonus or something.or it's gonna be a single b-side.anyway 35 dollars is a lot of money for one more track...

if a friendly ghost is feeling especially generous, I know whitedream13@hotmail.com would DIE for it!
I got that track from soulseek,i wonder why they didn't put this track on the European album,it's not that great, they did the same with"Geogaddi"for the extra money probably?!
P.S. I was the one who got Macquarie Ridge out on Soulseek haha
Got it from an anonymous guy who contacted me, people contact me all the time and give me rare stuff, same thing happened with the controversy on WATMM i caused when i got a hold of some "rare" boc and a Hexagon Sun guy talked to me for a little
D4VERD4NN- not for extra money, it's so the Japanese will have more of an incentive to buy cds locally from Japan, since they're more expensive there, otherwise buying them from abroad would be more appealing, and less beneficial for Japan's economy or music industry or whatever.
The track reminds me of Amo Bishop Roden, not in sound but in structure. Very ambient and just the right amount of layers. Both tracks have the perfect structure, although there may not be that much going on, any more would ruin it.
This is for sure a choice track. It's appeal to me is that it is very much akin to the sound from their previous albums, like Zeotrope. I wonder if this was a track that may have been left off Geogaddi originally, or if it's at least that old.
