Was on the fence whether I should go see it (I dislike leo's face), but a twoism recommendation might push it over the edge.

Definitely do, I know what you mean about his face and there's a good few close ups, but it's worth it.

It seems so much changed. 10 years before I would run to the theatre to watch first PT Anderson movie, because the hype and it being a "true art" form. Now everything feels old. Leo look old. Like the movies dont have the same cultural and artistic punch.
Tho, There will be blood is still prob one of my favourite movies. Still have it on Dvd and can rewatch it and enjoy it. But was thinking, is it that good because of the director or because of Daniel d Lewis.
Anyway, I still enjoy watching horror movies in theatres. The Weapons was an amazing experience. A thought provoking and scary. Movies like these can still shock me and make me think about it.

Probably my favourite movie this year. Unique idea, well executed. Moody, incredible sound design. And the ending broke me. If you able to watch it in the theatre, do it.

Saw Bugonia a few nights ago. It was excellent. Movie of the year sneaks in at the end?

Sinners was my favorite movie of the year.

Saw a live broadcast in a cinema of a National Theatre (London) production of “The Fifth Step” starring Martin Freeman (from The Responder, Sherlock, Breeders, The Hobbit) and Jack Lowden (from Slow Horses, The Gold). Since I’m in Australia I watched it after lunch. This has incredible acting on display. Very little props and no set, just two guys going at it. It’s about a young man going to AA and getting advice from a sponsor as he attempts to go through the 12 steps. That description makes it sound rather issuesy, but it’s actually very funny. The topics of conversation are quite edgy and controversial at times but it is all handled well. I won’t go into too much detail beyond that or I’ll end up giving spoilers. I will be trying to find a way to watch this again after the theatre run has ended because it was one of my favourite things ever.

This retrospective of Seymour Hersh's journalist career was a pretty gripping watch.

Penn & Tellers Bullshit

Its a really good series that pulls back the curtain to most of modern life. Cosy early 2000s feel to it as well, Penn & Teller are also funny as fuck!

Was thinking about the Manners Are Bullshit episode just the other day. Decent show for sure.
