Recommend films/documentaries, etc.

Hey gents and ladies. Was looking for a thread were people recommend films/movies/documentaries they enjoy.
I'd like to see what fellow boccers enjoy watching.

Im not really too versed in the medium, but to start off I might recommend:

Fearless- 1993 film with Jeff Bridges. A film about appreciating life, specially after a tragic event.

The Onion Movie- You probably won't watch this film again and again but the social commentary is pretty good and besides, I think its funnier than alot of comedies now adays.

Collapse-2009 documentary, one man's take on the pending economic downfall of the modern world. Very interesting, well made. You decide if the arguments presented are legitimate...

American Psycho- If you havn't seen this film, please do haha.

Perfume: The Story of a Murderer- Beautiful film, one of the best I've seen.

Angel-A- Film by Luc Besson, story of a man with a lot of troubles who encounters a very helpful and special friend...

Well, those are a few I would recommend, what about you?

Musical documentry: HEIMA by Sigur Ros
It's very, very beautiful. Even for people who don't have a clue who Sigur Ros is. It's basically a love letter to their home country, Iceland. It's beautiful, but I already said that.

I also liked "the wave". It's a TV movie/reconstruction of an experiment about peer pressure/social dynamics. It's quite old (1981, I have only a VHS-rip I think), but because it's quite close to my fears/experiences I love it very much.

Fantastic Mr. fox was one of my childhood favorites, I still enjoy Roald Dahl.
I'm going to look into these recommendations, all these are either new to me, or I simply haven't seen.

Yeah Fantastic Mr Fox was a seriously seriously good film. If you love the book, take the adaption with a pinch of salt.. but yeah, THAT is the mark of a timeless film.

Over here Kick-Ass had TV spots that made it look like some sort of shitty kids film but apparently it's meant to be really brutal! Is that true?

It's just unbelivible. Ignore the trailers. It's the most awsome film I've ever seen and it will definatly be a cult film...what, I'm serious! You got to go see it!

Okay so I know this is a very old documentary but I never seen it until yesterday. seriously, this may be the best, coolest and the most well-reasoned documentary I've ever seen in my life! I can't recommend it enough!

Google Chrome's AdBlock extension works a treat for anything with ads I find, even Youtube and the likes.
