Why is this track's existence completely forgotten? It's a total detour from their usual style and sits in the middle of Twoism, so it's not exactly hidden.

Next to Chinook, Basefree is probably my least favorite BoC track tbh. Probably because, like you said, it's not there usual style. I usually skip it when I'm listening to Twoism. To me it sound more like R&S era Aphex or maybe early Autechre which isn't a bad thing at all. Just doesn't sound like BoC that much imo.

Over the Horizon Radar, I think, is my favorite track right now. It's just straight up beautiful...especially after most of the wonderful paranoid mess that is Geogaddi.

Chinook / Sunshine Recorder / Jacquard Causeway.

I think Basefree is cool but it sounds like BOC trying to be "electronic".

Davie Addison is so short and simple yet so awesome.

I have not seen Sequoia get the credit it deserves on this website as one of BoC's dopest tracks ever.

A Moment of Clarity. It's so easy to overlook a 51-second ambient track on an album full of long, vibrant, dynamic songs, but it's as close to perfect as any BoC song can get.

Better still, try overlaying the forward and reverse of Come To Dust. It fits too well to be a coincidence.

Yes, I tag-named them after you. My first real work in Audacity though, so be warned. If there's link trouble just holler. I'd share the .pls I made, but it's my-wacky-folder-setup-specific. Oh and my fav less-prop'd track right now would hafta be my current allaround fav Spectrum. To think...there's probably a cleaner, unmixed, maybe unfaded and longer cut that may never get the full release it deserves. Man.

on a side note i was just at my cousins wedding, and the organ just absolutely resonated throughout the church. couldnt help but get that BOC vibe from the fulfillment of the organs sound

It really is astonishing, especially for that lo-fi noisy bass you can hear clearer from around 4:00 in.
Nlogax is brilliant as well, and You Could Feel The Sky is so often only discussed for its hidden messages, it's so layered and well-produced, and The Beach At Redpoint needs more love, those orchestral synths are to die for, and just listen to all the other shit going on in that track.
