interestingly, I'm now starting to be able to feel out the inclusion of Dayvan and the remix as part of the EP. now that I've digested the new material, I'm less getting the distinction between shiny (new to my ears) and dull (heard Dayvan 100 times), and can sort out the musical relationship as one flowing narrative. the Dayvan sections feel a bit like introductory and closing bookends.
listening to the whole thing (twice now) has been a good way to unwind after a long day

so any idea who leaked this?
i am starting to think that boc did. just so we (the hardcore fans) could give them an idea of what the reaction would be like and to see if they did good.
thumbs up from me but i also think they should have done an edit version like a version 2 of dayvan on the ep instead of the original.

Their- Possessive form of they
your- the possessive form of you
you're- contracted form of 'you are'
A lot of native English speakers get these mixed up. It happens.

Back on topic; I am really trying not to play this out before it's even relesed, but jesus, I just can't stop listening. The short length has me playing it over and over again. I hope they take this style and run with it on the next release. If they had an albums worth of material similar to this style it could easily be their best album. It's a slightly different style but very familiar at the same time.

While I understand the reasons for releasing whole albums, with their style I almost wish that they would release a series of singles of the longer tracks, then follow with an album with the interludes tying them together.
Case in point - when Oscar See Through the Red Eye came out I listened to it on repeat for hours and hours on end, becoming completely enveloped by the place that it brought me to. It was a revelation, and it doesn't have the same magic to me when placed in the context of The Campfire Headphase. I mean, I went DEEP into its orbit for those few days before the entire album leaked.
Maybe its something thats particular to that track, but I could imagine doing the same with the work of theirs that tends more towards the atmospheric than the straightforwardly melodic. Similar to how you could throw those unreleased tracks from the old website on loop for hours and get sucked in.

LSD - beautiful; must play this on repeat when i get the chance, enough said!
Odd Nosdam remix - remixes are sometimes further elaborations of the parts that the remixer in question loves about the particular track (in this case and to illustrate it better, it's the part when the skydiver is about to fall to sea); i believe that Nosdam's remix does just that and in a very unconventional way. it works for me.
And as someone mentioned before; i'm also starting to see how these tracks all come together to a well rounded work.

This is really a great idea. It's like when 'Skyliner' came out for d/l. I was really able to spend time focusing on that one track and I think it fully entered in. I think that would be great releasing their stuff like that, in concept anyway.

That's a state that I would imagine many of us get into with their albums anyway, over time. One of the things that I love about Geogaddi, in particular, is that the tracks reveal more and more depth the more I listen to them. It means that I'm still fascinated years after it was released. A truly great album is like your favourite book - comforting and enriching at the same time, and something that you'll go back to again and again.
