Are Daft Punk massive elsewhere in the world. I loved Homework (and still do), thought Discovery was amazing when it came out, but don't think the years have been kind, and they haven't really registered after that....

Pre-ordered! I couldn't resist to wait anymore after seing this video.
Very curious to see with who else they have collaborations going. Gorgio Moroder is like the granddaddy of dancemusic.

This is confirmed now. I'm really psyched for that track. And here's yet another new teaser of the Get Lucky track, this time including Nile Rodgers and some hilariously cool new costumes. Not totally sold on the R&B singing, but the rest is gold and the groove is fantastic. They're channeling a crazy mix of Motown, disco, and 80's funk with their signature Daft Punk electronics thrown in. I dig it.

I don't care too much for Daft Punk, but Get lucky, is the best song of the year so far.

So fresh, so funky. Fucking amazing.

Perhaps apart from the interlude with its distinct robotic vocals, Get Lucky sounds like a random pop song that I would never bother to listen.
