Very nice collection, and equally nice setup! The fact of how close to the edge of the table your turntables are irks my to no end though.

(not the most attractive picture but its the most recent one)

Some 90s stuff, original pressings all.

And also some more random pictures.

Or maybe not...

Trying to do it from 500px. Does the pic show up in the preview comment or only once submitted?

It does show when you submit it, but I too noticed that it doesn't seem to work in the previews.

Here they are. My beauties. :D

Tall vinyl rack to the left of the turntables is nearly all 93-98 jungle/drum&bass (Metalheadz, Moving Shadow, V, No U-Turn, etc.), under the turntables is mostly electronica stuff like Rephlex, Warp, Planet Mu (nearly all of those bar a few recent footwork/juke releases), pretty much every Luke Vibert record ever released (fanatic), Si Begg, and loads of other similar stuff.

I also collect a lot of Ninja Tune, Mo Wax, Skam, Stones Throw, Fuel Recordings, Constellation, early 90's Hardcore, Krautrock, Radiophonic, 60/70's Soundtrack stuff (about 8 copies of the 2001: A Space Odyssey soundtrack in various forms) and tons of other stuff. Lot's of hip hop, jazz, heavy stuff, Industrial, drone, techno, acid house, experimental, funk, blah blah blah
Anything and everything really.

CD stuff is much of the same but more hip hop and jazz really.

I recently sold about 2500 records and will probably be selling another 200-500 once i've whittled them down a bit. Got lots of electro, house, breaks and early dubstep I don't really listen to anymore. Mostly stuff I've bought over the years for playing out.

This is my life. :D

The CD has 13 tracks and the LP has 9 tracks. The untitled intro, Ghost Hardware, In McDonalds and Dog Shelter are missing from the LP. Ghost Hardware was released an EP of the same name and featured 2 other tracks too. The LP pressing of Untrue is the usual good quality you'd expect of Hyperdub.

Whoa, extremely nice! I hope to build a setup like that in forthcoming years as well :).

Always nice to see appreciation towards him. Claro is damn wonderful and creative piece of work. Probably at the moment my favorite "IDM" album, and one of the favorite albums overall.

I recently compiled a collection of some of his mid-late 90s tracker modules into this small package, including some mastering (which I'll probably redo at some point, not entirely satisfied with it). Quite well blending elements from both Boc and Autechre.

Thanks man, it's all very ramshackle but I kinda like that. Been collecting vinyl since I was a kid but I got a seriously into collecting when I started djing 17/18years ago years ago. Need to get some proper rack storage sorted at some point but it's all £ i'd rather spend on synths/hardware or vinyl really. :D

Hardly see any mention of Brothomstates nowadays which is a shame, any idea what he's doing?
Cheers for the link, i'll check it out later. :)

Thank's for your help, I finally got the img tag to work! Think it was an issue with 500px tbh, signed up to imgur now and all seems A.O.K.

Oh, a veteran! I was just a toddler back then :D. And yea Photobucket (was that what you tried?) I've noticed has been always a bit iffy when it comes to hotlinking. Imgur or dropbox should work muchos better.

For what I know, Lassi somewhat retired from the music business some ten years ago, but he never was truly gone. He coded the synth and did music for this (video) in 2010, and in 2011/2012 released this. I guess I should ask a friend who knows him what he's up to (he also some time ago suggested we should do a collaboration track or something with him).

Haha, not quite a veteran, just got into it young (used to get paid in out of date bottles of beer at my local venue when I was 15 haha) and was around lots of older people who collected records, dj'd and produced.

As for Brothomstates, yes, get him out of retirement! I'd love to hear some new stuff. Just listening to the Qtio EP. It's sooo good! :)
