Cold Earth / Spiro correlation?

It's likely placeboic, but does anyone else notice a slight correlation between the live "Spiro" track and Cold Earth?
Same high pitched melodies, chopped voices, ends, etc.? It almost sounds like a rework to me.

Maybe I'm just crazy...

Funny you mention this, I was just thinking the same thing the other day. Although it still doesn't fulfill my craving to hear the actually spiro track. If they released a studio version of Spiro, I would be so happy. It's by far my favorite BoC track, even though I've only heard a live recording of it. The chopped voices mixed with that beat at the beginning just overwhelm my brain. the fact that its just a live recording adds to the mystique of the track since a lot of detail is still tough to hear.

That locked groove loop just kills me. I really hope its a sign that it could be released someday. I also get a Telephasic/sixtyten hybrid feel from it. Since it is slightly similar to cold earth, Could there be a chance that it is a reworked version of the original "Spiro" track? I hope not.

i seriously though i was the only person who noticed this. its definitely the rhythm that the vocals are cut up, and the sound of the beat too in the middle too. powerful sharp and snarey (pretty much every reason i love spiro so much)

i really hope it isnt a reworked version though i still wanna hear the original in full some day

ive thought this since i first heard it, the vocal bits are pretty damn similar... i however dont think its a rework or intentionally done so..

I think he means the full track in decent quality
