Has everyone alerted themselves to this impending nuclear crisis? It's not at all unlikely that a massive chain reaction will occur at Fukushima within the next several years, as there are already cracks all over the plant and hundreds of thousands of tons of water leakage into the Pacific Ocean.
I'm normally a moderate person and don't get scared of things too easily. Even in the instance of the Cold War, the fear of nuclear disaster rested in the hands of agents of the government in whose hands was the ability to use nuclear power to destroy. There was always the hope that nuclear power would be the last resort, and thankfully, a nuclear attack never happened.
However, the containment of the water containing radioactive isotopes in Fukushima is an even riskier situation, because it is hardly within human means to avert the dangers in this case. That scares me, just a little bit.
The resulting fallout from this chain reaction would be much, much worse than what happened at Chernobyl.
