Can't wait. This somewhat confirms the second Aphex album as well, heh.
I wonder about the film ending thing though. Is he just having a laugh at the industry or is it actually going to be somewhat like a movie?

STOKED :D:D:D:D:D

I might be even more psyched for this then the aphex twin album. Warp 2.0 is here :)

Was hoping the trailer would burst into some beats for just a second...but allas.

Warp 2.0 for sure man, fuck yeah BRING IT!!

Beats would have been nice, but the tone has been set.

I saw Clark in Paris a few months back when I backpacked over Europe, and I'm thinking from memory there was vignette bits through out his set that are reminiscent of the sounds in the trailer.

And in Berlin i was lucky enough to gain entry to Berghain, and one of the dj's in the upstairs house/loungey bar area mixed some Clark in with his set and I was having a boogie and this dude looks at me and says "you love clark man" in an unidentified european accent and I said "Yeah man, love it" he then said I cannot wait for the movie and in my head (albeit my head was in an expected altered state at the time) I was like "shit, a clark movie? why haven't I seen or heard about this? Guy must be twerking my leg".

I like being wrong in this case:) Actually until it is unleashed upon us we will not know if it's actually a movie. If it is, I hope it's on Betamax.

Yeah rad, and if weather permits an outdoor premiere would be cool. But sound wise maybe indoors would be better for premiere level.

Can a candy bar be organised? popcorn and drank is needed for a premiere.

I actually hope its a movie/visual and album I honestly think it would be rad.

True dat.

I really liked the visual element to superscope with the oscilloscope.. Even then I was thinking we may a see a more visual element come out of clark.

Unfurla is ridiculous. Love it. It is very much Clark, and to me has some Iradelphic and Totem's flare vibes there. So very much good :)

Livestreaming this album now. It's remarkably good. Much better than the last IMO.

So disparate though. I'm not sure I can even compare the two other than the familiar soundscapes heard here and there on 'Clark' that are reminiscent of those on 'Iradelphic'. Clark is all about progress, it seems.

Love it.

Banjo is immense! Definitely fits my current electro obsession like a glove.

Yep verdict is in: I'm enjoying the hell out of this the album. Clark was right it's the perfect album for late fall/winter. I've got fog hovering over the hills and the lowlands. It's hard hitting and underlying creep just fit with the world in front of me at the moment. Highly recommended. I could really take or leave his earlier catalog so I'm quite pleased.
