Track on Bleep?

Post by hGc »

This news is posted on WATMM, don't know if it's true:

"WARP Records will release a single preview track from BoC's upcoming album on their digital music download site, BLEEP.com, on September 5th. More details as they become available."

Yeah, the track ''Oscar See Through Red Eye'' will be available for download. But the question is, how many of us will be able to wait? I'm gonna have to obey Aesthetics signature and just be patient. I would rather hear the album in all it's glory than be teased by one track.

I have to admit this is the first time I have patience to wait on a highly awaited release. So I'm just going to wait....

Patience is the wise move, and kudos and good luck to those of us who choose that route. I have a feeling this could turn into a Seinfeld episode about a certain kind of contest that dealt with resisting temptation. Soon we'll be asking each other if "you're still master of your domain."

I'm not going to wait. If I should die (or go deaf) before October 17th, I would like to go out with a new BOC song in my head.

Yep, just got the Warpbot email confirming what has already been stated above. My poor reading skills led me to believe that it was an "exclusive" track that couldn't be found anywhere else, but then I checked the tracklist for the album and it is on there. Thus, I will maintain my stance of holding out for the entire album.

Dayvan Cowboy will be released as a download only single on iTunes from Tuesday 4th October.

I guess bleep doesn't attract enough customers so they stake on iTunes now?

Lovely picture over at the Warpsite.

I wasn't sure how I reacted when I first saw them on iTunes Music Store... a little dis-heartened... but glad to know their music is getting out there, I guess... If I start seeing their CDs for sale at Wal-Mart though, I might go hari-kari. Bleep's mp3s are higher quality, anyway.

Love the pic... their photography is always striking. Anyone know who their photographer is?
