Many thanks for the critique.

I'll admit there's a similarity to the excellent Scintilli artwork but this is purely coincidental. My inspiration came from a completely different source.

I was working on a logo design and some of the early sketches started going off into M. C. Escher territory:



The logo ended up going in a completely different direction https://www.crackle.io (as is often the case) but I decided to keep working on the original sketches and they resulted in my design for Cotton Bureau.
