Soylent Night HD cover/rework

I started working on this forever ago and recently finished it after completely forgetting about it for months. It's a cover of Hell Interface's "Soylent Night" track, completely redone with high quality samples. A lot of people could argue that this track is supposed to sound lofi on purpose (and I agree) but I wanted to test myself to see if I could even similarly recreate it since I think it's one of the brothers most haunting (and underrated) tracks. I think it came out decent, getting the text-to-speech to sound similar and pronounce everything the same way was a little tricky.

Great work! The voice singing Silent Night is not in the correct key though. I think it has to be around a perfect 5th higher.

Thanks, I might actually try and fix that though because figuring out the pitch for some of the samples was a nightmare.

Just fixed it, matched the pitch and added a chorus effect to it. I think it sounds pretty damn close to the original now. Luckily soundcloud gives you a custom url for your song name, so the link above now links to the updated version.

I think it might have not worked because I set it to private. Although the link worked for other before, so I don't know. I just set it to public:

sounds pretty good, though the synth needs some reverb like the original had.
