keyboard nerds: from one source all things depend

Post by j8tes »

i think i mostly figured out the very indiscernible and elusive synth/organ progression in FOSATD. i'm sure it's not 100% accurate but it sounds pretty close. this has been bugging me for years and i finally sat down and surgically listened and transcribed it out. thought some of you might enjoy it!

also, i noticed they hid that recurring motif (IV, III, I in the 6th measure of the bass clef) that they tend to use in a lot of songs.

So it does, nice spotting. Had you seen my vid ? or did you independently recognize the reoccurrence? Either is an interesting answer, just curious.

Likewise, very cool to hear someone else picked up on it to the extent that they'd call out an occurrence like you did.
