Spoken-word Poetry and BoC

I've come up with an idea to combine BoC's music with some of my own poetry. The first one is called Cloudy Olson. Please do listen and comments/feedback are most welcome.

Its actually very effective and works well with the music. Your poetry is very well crafted also.

It could do with some eq mixing on the voice recording though to blend it in a little bit better with the atmosphere of the music beneath. If you have the tools, try cutting the lower frequencies out of your voice track a little bit and it should sound a lot nicer in combination with the song.

Heh, listening to it makes me cringe, in all honesty. I did the best I could to iron out issues with the voice quality. In fact, I do not have a mic. In the process of looking for a good one. Definitely going to make it a continual thing.

You are far too kind. I realised now that I sound like an idol with the voice of a peacock without a tail. Not nice.
