Old Website Clips.html Background?

Post by oliveoil22 »

On this capture: https://web.archive.org/web/20010208105 ... ips_1.html, it seems like where the old website music comes from is this clips page. It seems there are different gifs (shown below) that play along with the sounds, and I was wondering if anyone knew what the background looked like on that page? Was it this background?:

Or something different?

Here are the gifs from Bocpages:

Reason I'm asking this is because I want to make a video compilation of the gifs synced to the songs that are associated with them.

That must have been before they came up with the hexagon theme! Circle Sun does have a certain ring to it

That background looks pretty familiar. im sure the original website was different and that was a later period you have up but I could be wrong? I had the last gif as my avatar for a while but spotted someone else using it on twoism. keep at it/ good luck.

I wish we knew the origins behind the covers of stuff like Hooper Bay. I think half the reason their old secret albums are so tantalizing are those covers that are so brilliantly in line with the BOC mystique.

Yes, I remember that pictures back in 2005-2006 while this famous loop was playing

Also the myspace account was a thing, a lot of images there. The moment they changed the location status to New Zealand :] soo many memories that times.

If you look closely, he's drawing a hexagon in the middle of the circle.

Websites don't really do that anymore these days, do they? I remember when I first went to the BoC site it freaked me out a little, something about those bitcrushed loops still sounds so ominous, like visiting abandoned buildings.
