Good books...

I am taking a trip tomorrow and I am going to want something to read.

I love reading and I am pretty much open to anything... does anyone has any suggestions of some good books they have read lately?

If it is something I have read then I will let ya know....I trust you twoismers

One of the books I've enjoyed the most while on vacation was Douglas Adams' "Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy".

Kurt Vonnegut "Fates Worse Than Death"

It's not a novel, it's a collection of essays, but they're FANTASTIC.

He's a funny (and thoughtful) author.

Haruki Murakami: Wind Up Bird Chronicles

He is my favorite author, and this is probably his most imaginative and cherished book. He is quite popular is Japan, but he is starting to make a name for himself over here too.

Just finished with term at the university....going to go back and read some more of these before I start back in another month or so...also going to be doing a lot of recording. hopefully will be finishing up alot of stuff that is only semi-finished....

Read "Old Man and the Sea" when I was out in Colorado. One of those trips where you get to your destination, look around what books are available at the house you're staying at, see something you've always meant to read, pick it up and plow through it.

Oh, it was depressing. Hooray!

As Far As My Feet Will Carry Me by Josef Bauer.

Both amazing true stories of long, long walks to freedom after escaping captivity. Check em out.
