We've actually made music that's quite the opposite of what we've done with Boards of Canada, or at least about 90 degrees different. But it hasn't been released yet. In the future, it's inevitable that we will release independent works separate from Boards of Canada.
This hasn't materialised of course, but are there any tracks on a Boards of Canada release where the liner notes only credit one of the brothers for a track, and not both. Or remixes?
Or has everything ever heard from them really had both credited on it?
Farewell Fire and Gyroscope are both Marcus alone. Diving Station is a Mike track and I remember seeing somewhere that Tears From the Compound Eye is just Mike as well. However as far as official credits go Mike and Marcus are always credited jointly on BoC releases.
