Any good quality links for the Early tapes?

Post by mGardener »

What are the best versions/rips of the Old Tunes demos?

I'm specifically asking for Old Tunes 1 and 2. I already know about the new R35TT denoise.

The current best remaster of Old Tunes Vol. 2 is the Zephyr Method/sdoww/Quants Remaster which can be found here: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/ ... drive_link
And the original collection of rips of volume 2 can be found here: https://archive.org/details/BoardsOfCan ... TunesVol.2

As for volume 1, that one's a bit harder because your mileage may vary on what a 'proper' remaster sounds like.

There's a newer but noisier rip of it that was uploaded onto a throwaway account here on the forums a few years back which can be found here: https://archive.org/details/afot_mccp, although the speed is incorrect and the files aren't labelled.
The "Doors of Perception" remaster of volume 1 can be found here: https://archive.org/details/BOC_OldTunes1
And the original collection of rips of volume 1 can be found here: https://archive.org/details/BoardsOfCan ... ewOldTunes

The throwaway one is a hoax.
