You Already Know!

Post by llydia »

Its not often stars align and I get to show off my own art in the context of things. But I do just want to point out this one record to all those who want a bit taster before we get the main course. I kind of didn't even realize this when making it at the time but we definately went to those same waters in a way. Listen to "You Already Know" and see what you think!

Thank you! I'll have to detail a bit more some time the origin behind this record as I was witness to a religious miracle which occured in the Sheffield/Yorkshire area in 2023. Light appeared out of nowhere in the sky followed by this loud bell sound. I was not the only one to witness it as I walked into the room to ask my wife what the fuck that noise was and she heard it as well, we both just looked at eachover stunned really. We both shot up and looked outside when we heard this bell sound again and then felt the strong urge to walk out of the city south toward Rotherham. It felt like it was ripping through our souls, it gave us shivers. We grabbed our camera and walked until we felt like we could stop and look directly up at what ever was in the sky making this noise and just as we did this the clouds started to shift and it looked like this massive column light was just poking out of the clouds. At first, I thought it was just super powerful god rays. But the sound we kept hearing was inside of our heads almost. The light wasn't moving like anything we had seen before. Just like that, it was gone. I put the sound we heard into the album in a few places.

We later found out that there is quite a notorious cult around our area of masonic christian druids that could be connected to this and its all based down a funny road named "ringinglow road" in about a 6 mile walk from Sheffield Centre. I even realized I was not the first to point out this weird place. The Human League who are also from my area wrote a song about this ancient place. That whole area of Sheffield has ancient stones and "waypoints" or summoning circles.

"We Hear The Bell"

Still a mystery to me to this today, the strangest mystery maybe.

That tale is mental! Did anyone else hear it other than you two? It must have been powerful if it made you want to move towards Rotherham ;-)

(For the record, my late Uncle was from Rotherham)

Thank you! I bloody know right. Normally avoid that decripid place at all costs. What even is Rotherham? Anyway, We are unsure but around the similar time if you remember we ended up having the aurora borealis of sheffield in 2023 I think. The skys were particulary magnificent that year. Everyone felt something :)

This is really cool! Amazing story too - love a bit of northern English weirdness.

Thank you! and aye, people forget the north is quite mystical! got its ancient roots deep in paganism from centurys ago. Most of those skills went into the trades around the area I hear as modern times took on.
