What films give you that BOC feeling?

Post by Wrathschild »

First time I have posted on ANY forum so please be gentle with me, sorry if this has been discussed before.

So what films give you that BOC feeling?
What would you maybe put on as visuals when listening to BOC?

Me-

The Shining, The seventies clothing and styling + menacing tone, especially the opening titles with the light blue letters over the scenery.

koyaanisqatsi, seventies ambient film about nature and progress/industry.

Glastonbury, seeing the hippies at play rather than the concert bits. They look so free and happy but it seems so long ago and far away it makes me kind of sad.

Logan's Run sort of does. Just the atmosphere, and the visuals of course. And the music at times.

The hidden mysteries in the television show Lost remind me of them, strangely.

I saw Pi before I heard of BOC and it was really late at night so I don't remember much about. I should see it again.

I'm gonna say most recently, Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind.

The Shining definately..its just got that creepy vibe. Maybe Westworld too, hah. Or the Twin Peaks movie...I'm sure a few Lynch films do the trick

Funny story. I ordered it direct from Lynch's website a couple years ago, back when that was the only place it was available... and it cost me almost 50 bucks. I've seen it in Best Buy for like, 20 now. Oh well. Mine came in a much bigger box with a huge booklet. So there!

The Wicker Man and 3 Women both remind me of BoC, Wicker Man more so. Incidentally, they are two of my favorite movies.
