Last walk around mirror lake

Post by Infinite E »

Anyone heard BoC's remix of this? It's stunning... they turn this track into what it should have been. And it's pretty impressive that so much effect is acheived by slowing the drums down and adding some very minimal synths.

Beautiful.

That, Broken Drum, and Dead Dogs Two are my fav BOC mixes. I listened to them constantly back on 2005. I must have burned them onto 20 cds...

Indeed, that remix is creepy sounding. I love it.

Did anyone ever hear the Odd Nosdam mix from one of his "Le Mix Tapes" where he added a choir to the BoC remix? That's a pretty cool version too!

Hey man. Nice find. This choir is from a Philip Glass tune called "Etoile Polaire (North Star)" on his North Star soundtrack.

A nice track in and of itself. Although it seems like it starts to work less and less as the track progresses in this instance. Still a nice find though.

Are we sure that's an Odd Nosdam mix? I have to say I've heard much better from him... It sounds more like a fan mashup.

It's from one of his "Le Mix Tape" compilations as far as I'm aware (I could be wrong), and you're right, they're definitely more mash-up than remix.
And I'll definitely be checking out more Philip Glass from now on. Thanks for that!

Beautiful.
Great track, one of the most beautifull songs Ive ever heard. I really love the part in the end where the synth fades in. Thats song is just like a really good piece of emotional candy. :)

Ya, it sounds a little like the ending to Left Side Drive when the synths come in at the end. Love it!
