Name your favourite BoC moments; the same way like Rook did on the watmm forum for Autechre.
So I'm not talking about naming your favourite individual tracks, but the exact parts you especially love or constantly skip to or listen to in repeat!
One of my favourite goose-bump-triggering parts of a boc track is the part in "from one source all things depend" when the kid says "god is someone who rue's the whirl" which is combined with a melody line change; it kicks in at approximately 57 seconds into the song.
There are plenty more, obviously, but right now I need to get to work, I'll post more.

3:28 the interlude in Pete Standing Alone that sounds just like a dang nature video on shrooms HELL yeah one of my favorite BoC moments of all time. wish there were more like it.

there's so many, but one of my favourites is the just before the end of skyliner. the way the reverb sucks in is like a deep inhalation that resolves with another layer of shifted EQ beauty and a delyed snare (?) of some kind. this part has always given me the most palpable sensations. it's really great listening to it if you're on an escalator, or in an elevator that you can see out of. it's like it slows down your inner feelings while everything around you is moving in double time. amazing.
Happy cycling, when that warbly melody kicks in, 3 quaters into the song.
Olson, when you finally lift off in the end by hearing the soft piano chords.
The way lesly nielson say's "poors out" in Dandelion.Its sounds like he's from brooklyn or something.

edit: i have noticed that many of their songs contain this pattern...oscar see through red eyes for example.

Good topic - not only with boc, but generally all music its the little bits that really make me love it.
At the moment the bass line that comes in after the first chorus of Good Friday is what comes to mind..recently I've been loving the guitar in the left channel during the "Feels exciting touching your handwriting.." verse..so funky!
-The lone snare beat before Sixtyniner gets back to the melody
-The crash cymbal in Dayvan at 3:07 - possibly what made me fall in love with BoC in the first place

THIS IS MAYBE THE MOST EMOTIONAL, BEAUTIFUL, MAGIC and nostalgic (sorry I just have to say that word) part I ever experienced in music ever hands down.
The most visual thing I ever experienced...its all about love and that part is just pure love and memories.

How...? I can't hear pure love in that part, (but of course we have different experiences) I always thought it sounded kind of agressively mind-warping.

1.13 in Pete Standing Alone. One of the bluesiest boc lines I can think of.
The synth line in Telephasic Workshop, all I see are planes barrelling in and out of clouds.
The 'wind' in Happy Cycling. The first time I heard it I was walking alone in the dark, and I swear the wind made exactly the same noise, made it extra scary.

-the male vocals at the end of "You could feel the sky" at around 3:54...this whole ambient part itself, whenever I've listened to geogaddi, has always represented to me the ascent out of the darkness and uneasiness that the album created over the course of the earlier tracks.
-the change of melody in "tears from the compound eye" at around 2 minutes onward
-the warbly 70s synth part at 5:05 in "kid for today"
-the childrens laughter at the beginning of "a beautiful place in the country"
-scratch at 6:00 in "eagle in your mind"
