...no word on 747, but they praised Mira Calix for the IABPOITC remix.

I've seen it in the magazine store, so I cannot transcribe it here.

the wire have an online magazine - i'm sure it's only available in yearly payments though..

Thanks bleak, but I'm only interested in this hardcopy. There is an interesting article every once in a while but not worth a (digital)subscription.

There's a Basinski article inside but that's clearly David Sylvian on the cover. Sylvian's the reason I bought this month's edition. Anyway, there it is. I can't wait to hear that. IABPOITC is one of my very favorite BOC pieces and if Calix has outdone them for 'uncanny emotive evocation' then it really needs listening to.

Yes, to surpass power is some high talking.. But I am sure as a counterpoint it is par ex! That would have been a better entry point for a review?

Fredd, Any word on whether (not the conceptual cds) the vinyl offering on the set will be digitized? I have a weird feeling those will be excluded.

Warp have themselves stated the possibility that the [unheard] tracks will be available on another format.

Triple 10" Vinyl. Housed in uncoated card sleeves with debossed typography. (Unheard) will initially only be available in Warp20 (Box Set). Vinyl version will always remain exclusive to this edition.

much to the chagrin of myself and i'm sure many others. if we're paying £85 / £100 for a box set, it should at least be exclusive

EDIT: although, i just thought about it...this could be a reference to a possible BoC box set.

Wow, how do you think they're going work with the vocoder in IABPOITC? You think someone will just sing it? Can't wait to here it.

they're still up for pre-order on bleep

looks like they aren't really selling too well. on the one hand i'm surprised, i would've thought a lot more people would snap this up.

on the other hand i can understand it because of the recession, and the fact that a lot of what's in this box set isn't exclusive to the set

yeah i was surprised as well about that as well, i figured it'd be sold out in a jiffy (and i think warp thought so as well). we'll see how it goes when it gets released for real!
