Are BOC creationists?

This occurred to me after listening to 'From One Source All Things Depend'
(the last track from the Japanese release of Geogaddi).
A lot of the music (from Geogaddi in particular) is related to the theory of the '[wiki]Golden Ratio[/wiki]', a mathemetical equation that applies to every naturally occurring organism on the planet.
Somehow I find it hard to imagine the brothers being the god bothering types..

Yeah. They're both Seventh Day Adventists. The track "Rue The Whirl" is about God's providence.

They are much more likely to be evolutionists. They are rationalists certainly. and believe firmly in science, a subject that creationists clearly disregard! I think they would know that the earth is older than 4000 years old and we didn't walk with dinosaurs!

Erm ok...

Evolution can be seen in action, just look at common pet dog. They are proof that over 15000 years humans have taken wolves and created many types of breed, shapes and sizes, created by selective breading, based on the work of Gregor Mendel, proving that like it or not, evolution is present.

If evolution is noncence than how did all these breeds of dog occur?

and please note, that in the case of dogs, determenation of the fitest specimen was made by humans and not by the environment, but the same mechanism for evolution is present.

[EDIT: I should have mentioned that I dont know a whole lot about cristian belief, but im interested to see how it conflitct with my statements above]

Actually, that's only half of the evolution story. I don't think many christians will deny this part. It's only some kind of filtering of the gene pool. BTW There's also a big downside on this selective breeding, many dog breeds have specific condition, like hip dysplasia in bernese mountain dogs. In selecting certain traits in a dog, often bad genes come along, it's a bit like inbreeding.

The interesting part starts with adding genes to gene pool I think.....

I think BoC aren't creationists nor evolutionists. They look beyond those concepts, and that's why I like them!
It all comes down to theories and common sense when we talk about these subjects. Choose life, choose what you believe. I think it's healthy to stay open to other beliefs/ theories. It's healthy to doubt your morals and beliefs. It makes you a more balanced human.

And Cole, I'm ready for your sandwhich now. A Bacon, egg, cheese-sandwich please.
