Pics & Vids: LONE @ the Melkweg, Amsterdam 30-5-10

Yesterday I saw Lone doing a liveset at the Melkweg (Amsterdam) with my brother and sister ( the silence echoes).
I was so looking forward to this for a very long time! And Matt didn't dissapoint me a bit. It was even better than expected! The show was amazing! Full of unreleased stuff. From what I heard, there will be some superb releases this year (if those tracks make it to a release that is).
The show started with an almost empty dancefloor, but after a few tunes people were sucked in by Matt's amazing sounds.

We even shook hands with the man (and his girlfriend?).

I even got some longer movies (2 - 4 minutes). But I don't know if you're okay with me posting them Matt. Are you okay with me posting them on youtube? If you're not, no biggy dude.

Matt, thanks so much for this great show! Truly the best I saw in a long time. Needless to say your gig was the best of the whole evening in my book (far more intelligent music compared to the rest).
Thanks for shaking hands with us. It was so great to meet you.
Sorry we couldn't see each other later, but we had to catch our train.

ahh man, what a nice review! so glad you enjoyed it. and thanks so much for the support.. you guys were the only people in the room at the start! lovely to meet you all too, sorry it was so brief.. hopefully i can come over again soon and hang out properly.

That sounds fucking excellent. Lone is the most underrated and original producer out there. You must play in the UK now I have discovered you!

I have longer video's, up to 5 minutes. But I need permission from Matt otherwise I'm not gonna upload them.
Those video's are sooo awesome too.

Whenever Lone's gonna perform nearby (Belgium, Germany included) I will definitly gonna see him again! Maybe even fly to the UK in the future.

im pretty sure its unreleased but it certainly sounds similar to the new house style of lone which means it may work itself onto the next release
