But alas Hendrik, MDG once said in a thread thatdoes indeed have a different meaning. Although perhaps inspired? Who knows.

I think it is a BoC design based upon the gameshow Blockbusters. If you look carefully it is indeed a b with an o in the middle, surrounded by a c. The Blockbusters one looked like this:
