BoC Twitter Activity (not boctransmission)

Hey there.

So I was poking around on twitter and discovered an account named marcuseoin. It looks like it could be legit to me, as there is a picture of Marcus that I've never seen before and I've been through just about every public picture as I really like the photography that surrounds them. Not much has been posted there but I'm pretty sure it's new since it didn't pop up when I searched a few months back. This got me to do a few more searches which led to me to two accounts called hextransmission and mikesandison. Both of these also look promising to me. Have a look for yourselves:

Considering how much the Sandisons seem to insulate themselves from the world otherwise, I somewhat doubt that any of these are real. It's easy for absolutely anyone to register on Twitter or elsewhere with someone else's name, and to my knowledge it's not all that uncommon for people to start fake Twitter accounts and pretend to be musicians or celebrities just to dick people around. And considering how often there are fake announcements or songs or god knows what else put online by bored people looking to troll BoC fans specifically, eeehh....

MDG will probably know for sure, though.

The Hexagon Sun one looks pretty authentic. That one seems the most likely to be legit.

As for the brothers twitter, I also haven't ever seen that picture of Marcus, and I've seen quite a few BoC photos as well. I wouldn't be surprised if that was legit, but I doubt Marcus himself made it. Maybe someone with Warp or Hexagon Sun or something. Judging how people use Twitter, and given that the Sandisons have been as private as possible in the past 5 years, I doubt either one of them want to spend their time updating fans every 5 minutes on the last shit they took.

Even though at this point, fans would KILL for that...

Also, the MikeSandison one is the one that seems the least reliable.

why would Hexagon Sun post links to http://www.commonpurpose.org.uk/ and http://www.jaronlanier.com/gadgetwebresources.html.

it doesn't make sense.

They already have http://twitter.com/boctransmission

I'm pretty sure any other one is fake. In fact, that was the one and only reason they made that twitter account, so that people would know any other one is fake.

I spotted mike sandison twitter a few weeks ago. I first thought it was real because he was following lot's of stuff but didn't accept followers but one. There I thought that was marcus

The stuff the account follows is mainly about news, humanity and help-organisations etc.. and some cultural stuf like david linch... the other boc-accounts

I apllied as follower but I didn't got anything and gave up checking. I just noticed today I was accepted. And that's not very boc-policy to me so now I doubt if it's real.

We'll see when there's news in the future cause up to now there's no tweets to find (which again is in line with boc-policy

edit: This speculation is ridiculous. BoC already have a twitter and if they wanted to communicate with us via, they'd use the one they already have.
