Twoism on tape

anyone ever seen the tape version of twoism? like, a picture or anything. it's listed in the discography. they were selling the first pressing on vinyl in late 90s, how about the tape version? or were these more like the afot tapes, home-made and given out to friends? anyone in the know?

I would say there were only a handful made. Like 50-100. Never seen one online or any pictures of one. I know all of them were distributed privately amongst friends and family.

discography claims there were 100 copies of lp and cs, which i guess means 50 each, yet lp version pops up now and then, and tape never.

Yeah, it's kind of unexplained. You know what's fun though? Dub your copy of Twoism to Cassette. And make your own.

I have only RIPed version of Twoism from Vinyl of 1995 year - i think it would sound quite similar if record this on a tape

I've been wanting to Dub my collection of vinyl too. Need to go get some tapes. To hear 'Ready Lets Go' on tape would be so very nice.

That was actually one of the albums I requested to have put on cassette a month or so ago when some member of this forum offered to put w/e albums on tape for us. Never heard from him/her again, though. :roll:

I am thinking of going to the studio and dubbing the vinyl to cassette, but then I just thought, fuck that! I'm going to use my old piece of crap Sony Boom Box. I wanna hear the hiss and fading.

Second, I think I might do some experimentation and record a copy of a copy of a copy of Ready Lets Go from vinyl to cassette.

Just for fun.

I have already my own recorded tape version of The Campfire Headphase from the original CD.
Into the Rainbow Vein and Chromakey Dreamcoat sound more weird than the original tracks and i love it

but seriously, i know daydreaming is cool, and tapes are cool, but we have bazilion topics on putting your boc collection, for whatever reason, on tape.

no sign of twoism on tape is bizarre, but i guess it wasn't that much of a tape release after all. thanks for participating.

I've recorded Twoism on tape myself. I LOVE that old tape fuzz sound. It sounds so authentic hehee.

I've always wondered if they did tape recordings of Twoism and released them. NO BOUBT they have a tape lying around somewhere. Probably with friends and family as well. They have everything on tape

I would love to have Cassette album art specifics so I can EXACT my personal made copy

Someone should put a couple of albums on tape for me if you have a couple to spare. I'd totally pay for shipping and/or tapes. I don't have a way to do it myself.

edit: As I mentioned before, someone (can't remember who) offered to do it for a bunch of us, then disappeared from the forum. I got all excited, too!

I would do it for you! I just don't know how to convert the album art like Spine did...amazing work Spine!

AND I don't really know how to ship it to you and stuff...

Scan the cover art in photoshop and get a cassette inlay template. Then cut paste ect to fit. It looks like a real released cassette. But I like Spines better! It looks old, like something they would have given out.
