I was browsing for any news about a new Ulrich Schnauss record and I'd completely missed this finally coming out earlier this year. Absolutely gorgeous and reminds me far more of 'A Strangely Isolated Place' than the slightly disappointing 'Goodbye'.
How have I missed this as well? Ulrich Schnauss is amazing.
And by the way, I didn't find Goodbye dissapointing in any way, it was amazing. It's really different from Far away trains passing by, it's just a different sound, but for me it wasn't dissapointing 1 bit.

See, glad someone said this. Because I thought he was doing a solo record, and then this one drops and it's a collab, out of nowhere, around the time he'd been planning to release the solo record. So I just figured this must be it. Do we know he's definitely got another one on the go?
Personally I'm really looking forward to his one with Kirsty Hawkshaw. That Two Trees EP was some of the best stuff from both of them.
I got a hold of this collaboration early last year. I read at the time that Ulrich and Jonas created it and were trying to sell it to be licensed in film/adverts and in the meantime let it out to the internet.
Listening to this again. It's really a fascinating collaboration in that you can very clearly pick out which elements are Ulrich Schnauss and which elements are Manual when they pop up out of the mix. Very nice.
