Celer is/was a collaboration between husband and wife Danielle Baquet-Long and Will Long. They produced a ton of experimental minimalistic ambient music from around 2005 to 2009 (over 60 releases listed on discogs). The project was closed by Will in 2009 after Danielle had died of congenital heart failure.
Their music is something I've never heard anywhere else. There is just something so very sublime and deeply affecting about it. Their album Capri is one of my all time favorite albums.

You...you, you actually own physical copies of their works? Wow, I'm jelly as fuck...
I have their release on Dragon's Eye Recordings called "Dying Star" on CD & a nice vynil from basses frequences called "Weavings of a Rapid Disenchangtment". I will receive more in my mailbox soon!!!
Dani Bauqet-Long (who died at 26) was making music the Chubby Wolf moniker. There's a release on Dragon's Eye Recordings of Chubby Wolf, & I think there's a myspace.
I actually ordered Engaged Touches the other day... sounds very awesome, a bit different than stuff like Dying Star or Capri... I'd love to dive into their whole discog, I have so little of it compared to how much there is. Beautiful ambient and drone. I'd like to get more physicals if I can as well...
So happy to see some love for Celer on here. Their music is easily my favorite of everything that I have ever listened to. They reach somewhere no other artist dares or has the ability to go. Simpy incredible. I have been in touch with Will and recently got the new Ever, Irreplaceable Beauty release on vinyl. I have every LP they have ever put out - I am the biggest Celer fanboy you could ever meet.
Everyone should definitely check out the new stuff Will has been doing (both by himself and under the Celer moniker) - the new CD Menggayakan is outstanding. Can't wait for the new string of releases set to come out in the next year.

Definitely check out Discourses of the Withered, Vestiges of an Inherent Melancholy, Panoramic Dreams Bathed in Seldomness, The Everything and the Nothing, Tropical, Close Proximity and the Unhindered Care-All, Dearest Ices, ah fuck it they're all really good. Those are some of my favorites though.
I just got "Approach Me, and Find Me This Way" by Celer a few days ago. Fucking amazing drone once again. I don't know if its stuff they composed before her death, or stuff he has done on his own since, but it sure is beautiful. Drone is the best genre of music ever!
