Has anyone ever been to one? I believe they have viewing stations with free access to thousands of films (which you can also access online). I am in Montreal and will probably visit the Cinerobotheque today.

That's cool, the great conservative idiots at the helm of the country wants to close the Cinerobotheque, apparently having 2 employees is too expensive for culture. Of course it's in French speaking Quebec and we all know that Stevie Harper isn't too fond of that.

I was on a car trip to Montréal with friends a couple years back, and we passed the National Film Board of Canada building, but unfortunately I wasn't the one behind the wheel so we didn't stop to check it out. Next time.

Apparently there is a production centre in Edmonton! I am definitely going to check it out next time I'm up there.

im sure most of the major cities in canada would have a location, i've gone to the toronto one plenty of times and watched a bunch of reels of vignettes and other various things i remember from my youth. this was before they started putting a lot of stuff online for viewing but its worth going to check out imo
