Atoms for peace

Post by portiss »

Thom Yorke with Flea and some other guys, think most of you will know this already, but dang this song is so good. Really looking forward to the full album they are putting out.

Fantastic track! I already love it more than most of 'The Eraser'.
I make music as Sweguno.

Same here, The Eraser didn't really stick with me. I think I need to give it another try. This however, I'm really looking forward to, can't wait!

It has leaked. And boy, is this amazing.

The King of Limbs was kind of a dissapointment for me, only song I really liked on it was Lotus Flower.

This is amazing though, really, really good.

On a first listen, I would agree. I think it has much more of a groove than King of Limbs... closer to the way Radiohead play their "difficult" material live. Better than the Eraser, yeah. :)

Will definitely give this a listen later. One of my favourite things about Radiohead is how they are a "groovy" band and how that really comes out live on a lot of their more electronic or abstract tunes. If AFP is more of that, then I'll be very happy...

Just downloaded this- excited to give it a listen. From what I've already heard (the two songs they put out) I loved it so I'm anticipating greatness.

EDIT: THIS ALBUM IS FUCKING INCREDIBLE

^Cool. Is this GZA?

It's funny cuz, like, you know, atoms for peace. But atoms are made of electrons and protons and stuff.

Had 6 listens now, and this is so amazing. This is everything I wanted the King of Limbs to be.

I will be amazed if any other album this year will have this instant appeal to me. Usually instant appeal is a bad thing to me, but I'm sure this is not. Thom Yorke is such a hero.

The last minute of the song ''Amok'' is soo fucking amazing.

I'm only 4 tracks in and it is sounding incredible.

I knew it would be good but this is something special.

I love when flea's little nuances come in- I hear the rumbling of the bass and my brain instantly goes "whoop here comes flea"

I've effectively listened to this album at least once every day for the past week. It's fantastic.

thats funny, earlier today i could have sworn i heard boc sampled in the song, default. if you listen, the keyboards\synths begin to sound very boc-ish.

It does sound bocish but it's just a synth...
