Imagine if you recorded the ultra-sonic sound and then transposed it down to a frequency that we could hear, it might not work as well as I think, but it could be pretty interesting.

Quality photo, such an interesting angle to look from. It's not everyday you look at things from down there! Total change of perspective but I really like it, the focus on the face and the clouds in the background top it off. Ace shot!

^^ Agreed, the sun often brings out the best in people. I don't know exactly why, but I know when I look out of my window at the vibrant plants on a soft blue transient of a skyline I feel happy

When you say it goes to some recording monitors do you mean it goes straight from the effects pedal to your monitors or is there some sort of mixing interface involved before hand?

Also do you use your computer in any of this? Im sure your aware of all the VST's e.g. Guitar Rig, They can produce ...

Adding a light flanger to the higher frequencies of bass can sound cool if you can do it right. What are you guys using to make bass? I have fairly standard VSTs for pads and such but nothing good for bass. Suggestions?

Yeah I agree with you there Nurthice. Often I find myself cutting and boosting around the low end to get the kick and bass to sit pretty, after much tweaking it seems to do the trick though. I see what you mean about chords in the bass line and I don't think I've ever tried using more than one note ...
