I need some money to go to Kenya next year so I'm selling my only Boards of Canada collectable which is the Tomorrows Harvest advent calendar poster. The start price is less than what I paid for it. So we'll just see what I get, if anything.

I hope I don't get hammered like that if I sell my TH poster one day. I'm happy to keep the poster at the moment but if I need the money.

Time you split the money between production costs, the band, the label, bleep, and maybe the person who designed the image, I doubt anyone made much from this poster.

.....and there was me thinking it was a nice little Boards of Canada item to purchase on the lead up to Xmas. Little did I know there was so much politics about a poster ltd to 100 copies. I might frame mine.

As for new music, it will come when it's ready, which could be a few years.

Doesn't add up. Would cost a lot to fly out equipment and stuff for one secret live show. Unless Intertia have a stupid amount of money it wouldn't happen. If the boys fancied doing a spot of travelling and did a DJ set, I could buy that.

I actually think the fanfare at the start of Gemini sounds like the music you get when you switch some computers on.

Every time I see the opening sequence to The Returned, I think of Music Has the Right to Children. For me the images fit perfectly. Obviously the music is different but still pretty cool it's done by Mogwai.

As long as Warp stump up the money to put them forward, I think they will be one of the final 12. The list is usually a mix of newcomers, different genres, and a few established artist to give the award a bit of publicity. BoC cover a few bases, plus people will wonder if they would turn up, perform ...

I know it's not likely to happen, but they haven't ruled it out. So where would you like to see them play? I think it has to be somewhere a bit special, but also has to be fairly big to allow as many of us to get in.

Brilliant news. Not a huge surprise when you see the number of followers on facebook or hits on Facebook. I just think of it as a huge cult following though. Outside of those that are really big fans, I don't think many people know of the band.

When I read about the equipment, I just thought that it was very unlikely that this album would be played live. Not that I thought it would be very likely anyway.
