Thanks! Pretty heavy use of that 'Bad Stone' phaser pedal, a lot of Boards' early stuff seems to have some pretty heavy phaser use. I think that's what makes it on this track, that watery sound

Cheers! Recorded the synth strings on the Pioneer deck then played back and recorded the output from the walkman. The Pioneer gets a nice drive and wobble to it and with the VUs you can see when you're hitting a nice ...

Fantastic work. I love it when people do in-depth covers of BoC pieces because it's the closest thing we get to unpicking their process in a way.

Thank you! I meant to reply to you in the other thread- really appreciate the kind words. I keep ending up doing BoCcovers as it is actually a lot of fun and a bit of a process/challenge doing all the tape stuff etc.

Was just watching/listening to this for the first time in ages- the "take my hand" sample used towards the end of 'You Could Feel The Sky' is really prominent in a couple of the tracks, some crazy filtering or possibly a re-recording used on the ...

Not sure if this counts but the beautiful moment at around 1:05 when the guy in the crowd realises an (at the time) unreleased BoC track is being played!
