rudimentarily (i'm no sound engineer), they put a noise in motion in 2 dimensional space eg up down left right diagonally ect ... then by varying volume subtley they put the noise in 3 dimensional space. thus they can effectively trace out any geometric figure, number or even signify actions and ...

dandelion, beach at redpoint, alpha and omega, i saw drones, dawn chorus and you could feel the sky are most especially beautiful and chilling backwards.
if you haven't yet listened to geogaddi backwards, you really should. it's suprisingly listenable from start to finish. i didn't find the same ...

Love BOCs stories, and the narrative side of their albums...its so sweet on TCH its like watching a excellent movie! Fantastic stories being told with no words.
the details of the narrative on TCH seem to be buried much more deeply and densely in the mix than on geogaddi. life beneath the surface ...

to be more specific, beyond the music merely evoking images and shapes relative to listener interpretation, they seem often to be, more than any other act i've heard, actually tracing out shapes, numbers, and even more complex actions and scenes especially within the confines of headphone space. it ...

Aural geometry in geogaddi
i don't know the proper terminology but has anyone else found that boc use the doppler effect with almost every melody in geogaddi? the overall impression being that you are hearing specific shapes, sometimes even numbers, being traced out.

some artists intentionally mislead interviewers. or they only give part of the picture. generally, i don't believe much of what they say beyond their studio techniques.
but anyway, does anyone else have any thoughts as to narrative structure? it doesn't have to be all-encompassing, maybe just an ...

some of it is a little tenuous. of course i can only imagine what hell would sound like. the last thing i want to do is solve geogaddi. i enjoy the music so much more than analyzing it. but after you've listened to an album more than a thousand times you naturally start to notice stuff whether you ...
